Food Trail 040107

I shall repost what i wrote on the email for all to see :)

1st station: Adam Road Food Centre











Delima Chicken Rice - 6/10 (Fragrant rice but meat of chicken too tough) ($3)














Adam Road Prawn Noodle- 7/10 (Prawns big and fresh, nice soup) ($8!!, but its $4 w the less big prawns)

2nd station: Liang Chen Mei Dian (A chinese bakery near maxwell)
Po Luo Bao (Pineapple Bun) - 7/10 (Nicer than crystal jade) (One bun is 80 cents)

3rd station: Maxwell Food Centre
He Ji Zhou - Fish Porridge 7/10 ($3 for a veri big bowl)
Raw Fish 6.75/10 (Fish can be fresher. $5 for the fish which is a lil ex for that amount given)
Carrot cake from some unknown stall- Nt veri nice

tall 76 (Cannot rmb name)- Sweet Potato Ball (7/10), even eunice who dun eat sweet potato sae its nice!!!- 30 cents for one potato ball


4th station: Amoy St Food Centre











Chi Ming Yuan Chun Lor Mian- Lor Mee (7/10) ($2 for the small portion)











Sg Kueh- Yam Paste (expenive concentrated yam paste in minute amounts, topped with
pumpkin,ginko nuts and a tbp of coconut milk, although my impression of yam paste is yam swimming in a pool of coconut milk. Fans of yam paste will like this) ($2.50, so expensive!!
5th station: Tanjong Pagar Market (Behind Amara Hotel)



Annie's peanut ice kachang- No atapchi :( but still taste gd aniwae (7/10), kachang and grated peanut on top of ice, no jellies below, $1.50, still acceptable
6th Station: Zam Zam Restaurant @ Arab Street



















Chicken, mutton, sardine murtabak- All the murtabaks are nice and the price also alright. $3 for quite a big piece tho its the small portion price.
Nasi Briyani- Nt too sure, onli jeff and kim seng ate it
Teh Tarik- Too Sweet
7th Station: Yong He Eating House, btw Lorong 9 n 11 @ Geylang
The most exciting part nt on food, but on the way to the place......LOL, those who were there will know what i mean....haha
Soya Bean Drink- According to some of them, the drink is bland, no taste ($1 for a bowl)
Soya Bean Curd- Taste alright ($1.50, expensive as compared to other places)
You Tiao- Veri crispy (80 cents for 1, considered quite ex)
